Wow what an experience the last couple of weeks have been. I look back now and am so thankful for how everything seemed to work out despite the circumstances. Just to update everyone a few weeks ago my legs started swelling and my right leg got very hard and red and caused so much pain that it was hard to walk. After showing my doctor at my appointment she sent me start to the emergency room to have it tested for a blood clot. After having different tests they said they could not find a blood clot and to contact my doctor the next day. I then contacted my doctor who had me go back to the hospital for more tests. After those tests they admitted me into the hospital to have my leg treated for a blood clot as well as an infection called Cellulitis. After a weekend in the hospital being monitored and tested they decided that it was just an infection and put me on an antibiotic. During the next week my leg still did not get any better in fact it got worse and I started having times where I lost my vision in my right eye completely. During my next appointment they had me go to an vascular surgeon thinking that maybe it had something to do with my veins and blood flow. The Vascular Surgeon could not find anything wrong with that so my doctor then had me go back to the hospital. This time when tested my liver enzymes where high as well as my white blood cell count and I had protein in my urine. Which confirmed that I had Preeclampsia. Of course the only way to get rid of this was to deliver the baby so after an Ultrasound they decided to take the baby at 35 weeks. Of course I was really nervous because I wanted her to be ok but I didn't have much choice as my leg was getting worse and my health was putting me and the baby in jeopardy. So my doctor admitted me to the hospital again and would be back in the morning to induce me. I guess my body was already ready to have the baby because that night my water broke and they had to go ahead and start the induction. It only took a few hours and I was fully dilated and they were going to call the doctor. The Nurse was making a final check and felt something so she called the charge nurse in to check me and when Cody very calmly to pull the code button and in a matter of minutes they had the baby out with an emergency c-section.
We were very blessed to find out that the only problem that Abbigail had was her blood sugar levels due to my gestational diabetes. She had to stay in the Ni cu until they were able to get them under control and stable. After a rough recovery I was able to come home on Wednesday April 22nd (Ryans Birthday) and Abbigail was finally able to come home on Friday April 24th.
Looking back I see that the Lord was looking out for a little family so much, and we feel very blessed to all be home and healthy now. As you can see from Cody's post earlier she was born April 18th at 5:07am and weighed 8lbs 10oz.
I also feel very thankful for my husband and the way he took charge and handled everything. For those of you that don't know Cody is working, going to school Full-time and still manged to stay at the hospital with me pretty much most of the time to get me what ever I needed. Still found time to plan and get Ryan presents for his birthday in between work and school. He did all this never complaining once.

I also want to thank everyone that has helped me and my family through this time. We have been so blessed with so many friends and family that have been so willing to help with everything.
Well now that I am feeling better I will try to keep everyone updated and post a lot more pictures.
